The Oregon Coast ...aka Love :)

Scott and I went to the Florence Coast last Sunday and it was beautiful as always. It's truly one of our favorite places to go. These are some pictures I took :) While we were out of the Jetty we saw a bunch of seals. They were so cute!

Christmas 2009

So Christmas this year was amazing and I loved every minute of it! We had a very busy day. Scott and I woke up at 7 so that we could open up our presents for each other at our apartment first and then we went over to his grandma's house at 9 to open presents, then to my parents house at 11 to open all of those presents. So we had A LOT of presents to open, but it was fun! My family was nice enough, well TIA was kind enough to let us push opening presents to 11 instead of 9 so that Scott and I could be there. I don't want to have to choose between houses for Christmas morning and if I can get away with it then I won't choose, I'll work around it. haha Luckily enough both of our parents live 5 minutes from each other. It makes it so nice!!! I feel as though we got super spoiled with gifts. My parents and his are too giving and they got us so many nice and neat things. One of my favorite things I got was my ipod nano. I have never had one before, so it's been awesome having one! I got Scott a blu-ray player so that we could watch all our favorite movies in high def. on our majorly humongous t.v. that I love! Back in November we spoiled ourselves and bought a 58' Samsung Plasma t.v. It is so awesome!!! We love to watch movies together and a big t.v makes it that much better and now with blu-ray, there is really no need to go to a theater haha. Scott bought me some accessories for my Nikon camera which I'm really excited about. :) Later on on Christmas Day my step mom came down with my little brother and we opened presents with both of them. My mom was smart and we had Christmas dinner the night before, so on Christmas we all got to relax and play tons of games. I love my family and having them all around! After Christmas was over it was sad to have everyone leave. My older brother Chris went back up to Portland, Cameron left for Idaho a few days later and Everyone else had to get back to work. BOO! I really wish we could all hang out a lot more. I always hate when Christmas is over, it's my favorite time of year. For New Years my Man and I watched movies and forced ourselves to stay awake till midnight. I really could have crashed around 10, but that would have been lame. So I stayed up. Overall being home this Christmas season way more then made up for not being home last year. Being with family is AWESOME :)

These are my Christmas Kitties. Got to love them! :)

Oh Blogging

I really don't know why blogging is so hard for me. I mean, it's so easy! I guess it really just comes down to the fact that I'm lazy and have nothing interesting to say. So at my rate, I am now blogging every couple months. haha So, my goal now is to get better and do it more often. I think I end up waiting so long that I start forgetting everthing I wanted to blog about in the first place.

So the only thing I can think about blogging about is Thanksgiving and how amazing it was to have all my siblings there! It's been a couple years since we have all been around the Thanksgiving table because Cameron was on his Mission and Scott and I were in Utah last year. It always means so much to me to have my family around. I love them so much and it's crazy how old we are all getting! Tia just turned 11 last month! where has the time gone? I remember when she was in diapers dancing around in my mom's heals that were 10 times to big for her. and when she would roar like a dinosaur on command and drink milk out of the gallon that was almost as big as she was. Soon she will be a teenager and then start high school, go to college and get married. AH! It's so crazy! Katelyn is almost 20 and getting more beautiful everyday, Cameron is 21 and leaving for college in January, Chris is 25 and living up in Portland going to massage school, and I'm 23, married, and living my own life. We are all adults now and I never thought the time would come where we would be separated and only seeing each other every once and awhile on holidays or other random events. So That's why Thanksgiving meant so much to me. To have all the people I love in one place for that one day was amazing! So I am looking forward to Christmas where we can all be together again before more of us move away and makes it that much harder for all of us to get together. I have amazing parents, all 4 of them! I couldn't have asked for better. They each have contributed in their own ways to the person I am today and I thank all of them for being there for me. and I love that they are all family oriented and strive to get us all together as much as possible. :) Oh and last but not least, I love this time of year!!! It's absolutely my favorite. I'll try to get better at blogging and doing it more than once every two months. lol Life is Wonderful and I couldn't be happier :)

Family Pumpkin Patch Trip :)

Just some Pictures from our Pumpkin Patch trip to Lone pine last weekend. I love it! We try to do it every year :)

It's just about time...

Well I haven't blogged in over 2 months, so It's just about time to do it again. I honestly think it just takes that long for anything interesting to even happen. Scott and I just do about the same stuff everyday and everything else really isn't interesting to read. lol In the past 2 months we have moved into a new apartment. We did this back in September and we love it here! we are still trying to get everything organized and put together. I bought our first kitchen table last month and it's awesome! I have never owned one before. At the same time we moved in we adopted 2 kittens that were 4 months old at the time. A brother and sister that have extra toes on their front paws. So they are our special kitties. We love them! The little girl's name is Pickles (she's the black one) and the little boy is Pancake. We thought they should have silly names and they are the best Kittens ever! we lucked out big time. They are pretty much my kids. :)
Hmm... What else, I have started doing Photography a lot more since I got my new camera for my birthday in September and I'm having so much fun with it! I love it so much! I'm still trying to figure everything out and working as much as I can on it. It's very scary for me to put myself out there with so many talented photographers who are a lot better than I am. Everyday though I am learning more and more techniques, so that makes me happy and comforts me to know I'm only getting better.
My parents are remodeling their kitchen finally and it's almost done! The last of the tile is going in today! It looks so good! My parents deserve it for all the hard work they do. I'm glad they finally did something for themselves. The Kitchen is amazing! My brother Cameron got accepted to BYU-Idaho and will be going there this winter and I'm really excited for him. I loved it there and I know he will too. Oh I forgot I haven't even blogged since my birthday, so I should probably say something about this amazing camera I got. So for my birthday, my amazing husband, my parents, some of my grandparents, and my siblings all chipped in for my new Nikon D5000 Camera. It's the best present I have ever received. I love it so much. I'm so grateful to have a husband and family who believe in me enough to buy me something that expensive. But, believe me I am putting it to good use and using it whenever possible. I usually will make up things to take pictures of. haha I made a Blog of some of my work so far and it is growing fast. It's KirstenWilsonPhotography.blogspot.com. Stop by and let me know what you think. :)
So I honestly think that's all that has happened in the past couple months. I'm pretty boring. oh and I just want to shout out that I have to most amazing husband in the world. I can't believe I was lucky enough to find a person who loves me as much as he does. My love for him grows daily and I'm so excited for our future together! I know this is mushy, but it's true. I couldn't have asked for anyone more perfect for me. So I guess now for some pictures to brighten up this boring post. haha
So these aren't the best pictures because getting 2 kittens to stay still for very long just doesn't happen. But at least you can kind of see their extra toes. :)
